This Project has TANKED! Butler no longer attached.

Honestly though...the way the script was (apparently) going...I'm not that sad that Butler is no longer attached to it. How can you replace zombies with vampires?!? And quite frankly...the original storyline of "Priest" is FAR superior to what has been leaked so far from the script (his neice is kidnapped??? How is that better than his one true love is murdered?!? And he is murdered...and then he makes a deal with a demon to come back as an undead avenger?!? Sorry...the storyline that was coming out of hollyweird just wasn't cutting it for me.)

This little video is now just a sad dream undone. But really...not all that sad because it was turning into something very un-Priest-like.

Their self-titled debut album is still receiving a lot of attention and rightly so. A great group on their way up and I sincerely hope that Crossfade is tapped for the "Priest" soundtrack. HINT HINT!!! *wink*

torokun - I have to agree with you! "Priest" is AMAZINGLY original just. as. it is! My only hope for this movie (other than having Butler in it - he's very careful about the projects he chooses) is the fact that Min-Woo Hyung is doing 3 cross over novels to accomodate the movie version. But, I have to say...I really LOVE the original story. I don't see ANY reason they should change it!

this movie was decent... too bad it bastardized the novel like a baws.

I COMPLETELY agree, when i found out that the movie was actually from the novel i was like-are you kidding me? what the hell did they do? i loved this series or as much as i could find of it, i only found like 11 of them i think, but seriously it was amazing the novel especially 9, the angel who captured people and distorted their minds and bodies into demon angel things, they should've made the movie off that at least, feel like barfing i can't believe they did this...

It's so sad that the project got dropped. If I ever get a chance to make a movie it will be Priest...hardcore and uncut from the original manga. GOD I NEED THE NEXT ONE!
