Cold start the John Deere 2240 and doing some chores

had some troubles getting the 2240 to fire up but we got er done

What model is that old tractor? I like its idle, it sounds great. My papa in Tuscaloosa has an old 1950's model, still plowing!

it is a JD 2240, runs a 3 cylinder diesel

Cold starts can be a drag in the winter when you live in the upper mid west. I live in southeast South Dakota and a real cold January morning always bring on wondering if it will start or not. You don't give up, got to give you credit tor that. Batteries are better today than they use to be but that is no guarantee it will start. NE Montana gives batteries all the more challenge.
