I would argue that Sydney Habour Brigde is one of the most spectalar bridges and most photographed and filmed! like please go to Asia and that 'golden gate brigde' is like everywhere! because its cheap and easy, as the Steal Arch Sydney one is way to complex and expensive

You fail to understand the cultural significance of the bridge. It's the west coast's equivalent of the statue of liberty. Literally the gate into San Francisco bay and northern California.
While there are more impressive suspension bridges today, you must remember that this was 1937 and back then it was the largest. It murders Sydney's in terms of length (> factor of two).
