@venom1dark One of my uncles was a government worker in Punjab in the early 80's. One day, the bus he was traveling on was stopped by Bhindranwale's men. He and several others were identified as Hindus and non-Punjabis. They were pulled out and shot.

The truth is that both sides made crucial mistakes at the time. It was a completely unnecessary conflict.

"Bhindranwales men", did they carry membership cards or simply did they run off shouting Bhindranwale? Have you heard of Black Cats? the Govt later admitted to using mercenary paramilitary groups comprised of ex police officer made to dress as Singhs to discredit the freedom fighters.

Even if we are to believe these were his men (although he and every other Sikh Freedom Fighter categorically condemned it) how can you compare the killing of a dozen or so with tens of thousands.....

@SJJGautham08 I know of that attack. These men were of Bhindrawale as u say but this was after Bhindrawale were killed in the attacks. These men were acting on their own, Bhindrawale would never order such an action. But yes, these men may have represented the Sikh side and ofcourse their actions were very inhumane (killing innocent people). It was all very stupid... R.I.P Bhindrawale and all the innocent lives lost (Hindu or Sikh)

@arare666 Bhindranwale used the golden temple just as well as the thousands of people in inside used the temple if their was terrorist inside etc I dont think the golden temple would be operating as it normally does the fact is he never posted any threat to anyone. weapons or no weapons what about the 300,000 Sikhs killed and well over 100 Gurdwaras burned to the ground so please do save us your bullshit.
