Hobby Lobby Cessna 172 Bad landing

Finally got the guts to fly the Cessna 172 with the flycam2 on my head. I've landed ok a dozen times or so...of course when you film it...that's when you screw up. I think I turned too sharp and almost flip the plane then the dreaded sidewalk was there.

flaperons? you mean... flaps?

Well, it is called flaperons when the ailerons are used as flaps- basically a function of a computerized Tx. ailerons are on the outer edges of the wings. Real flaps are flaps that are on the inner ends of the wings. flaperons works ok, but not ideal since it can easily cause stalling vs. real flaps.

although the motor mount broke from hitting the sidewalk, a bit of help from gorilla glue put it right back in service. it's still flying high and one of my favorite relaxing planes to fly.

I think the landing speed, at scale, would have been around 300mph

Yeah, that was an excellent landing, I've been flying at my RC Club for many years and rarely do I see a landing as SMOOTH as that was. We have many AH SHIT!... landings. ;D
