@shadowofdread i think that you have made some good points but i do think Dr Phil is just as bad as the bum fight guy. the people that go on Dr Phils show do not know his real plan the bums do. i would feel better about pulling out my teath on a show then being humiliated unexpectidly on Dr Phil.
they are both bad and there is know real diffrence between there shows. just diffrent lines crossed

That's pathetic. Invite someone on your show and pretend you're going to interview them so you get more viewers when you've already planned to kick them off?? You could at least wait until you're halfway through interviewing him to kick him out just so it looks a little more realistic, you know.
I wonder if the Bumfights guy knew what was going to happen? He seemed kind of surprised when Dr Phil says he won't interview him.

I would think the Dr. Phil staff would have viewed the Bumfight tapes before bringing this guy to the studio. You aired just enough footage on the show to make those that are curious about Bumfights seek it out.

I think the guy who does that to homeless people is sick and Dr. Phil was right to kick him off the show. However I do think it's pretty fucking brilliant of the guy to dress up as Phil to come on the show. He does have a point about what Phil does too. Sure, he might help 1 or 2 people but most of the people he gets on his show just generate laughs for the people as he exploits them. It's not right to hate him though. He's certainly not as bad as the bumfights guy.
