Cutting for the Cure is a creation of Bendigo hairdresser Leigh Riley (Shed 7) to help shine light on the dark issue of mental illness. After the deaths of 3 close friends and a relationship breakdown, Leigh found himself in a downward spiral of depression, anxiety and substance abuse. After a long fight Leigh managed to pick himself up and break free of his demons after seeking help.
Now, in honour of his lost friends, Leigh is traveling Australia to raise awareness about mental illness.
Please help support Leigh as he tries to help those who are still lost in the darkness by subscribing to his channel, liking his Facebook page, following his journey around the country.
More videos will be uploaded throughout Leigh's journey, so subscribe and stay tuned.

If you are a business interested in helping Leigh in any way, contact via Facebook or YouTube private message (link at the end of the video). You will be recognised for your contribution.

If you are in a dark place, you are not alone. Take the first step by talking to someone about it, a friend, family member or counsellor. There is always someone who will listen and help:
