i couldnt get it out cuz it went through my thumb and almost out the other side...almost being the key word

i had a catfish stick me right in the middle of my thumb and the barb broke off in my thumb. 2cm of barb was in my thumb and i just wrapped it in some twine and continued fishng. 2 days later i went to the emergency room. the numbing shit hurt more goin in then the barb.and my hand was numb for two days. 3 stitches later and some pills i was fixed up just like new. except for a scar that goes all the way down the middle of my thumb.life lesson # 100000,always bring thick gloves while fishing

damn that shit isn't fun at all its happened to me before in the same exact place but the catfish was still attached to the barb on my hand and squirming around like crazy

I pulled mine out within 5 seconds and still had to go to the hospital for 3 days getting pumped full of antibiotics. It fuckin sucked lol.
