I remember this I had this as a kid for the TG16 but in the US the name was different. Sinistron was the name of this game in the US.

Awe man, I love this game. It is very hard, I still have not beat it yet and I've had it for years. The music sounds awesome too.

The notable feature for the ship to open up the fontal hatch (I can't really say it's a nose since the window for the pilot seat appears to be attached just behind it) is a nice one indeed. Anatomy is practically in many places in this title. I can see a number of great aspects for this game! I WANT SINISTRON FOR THE TURBOGRAFX-16!

I was very surprised to find out that the PCEngineFX boards member Sinistron named himself after a game, and this shooter as well (I thought it was one he made it up on his own before finding out). I like how the Japanese box art has a creature spilling out its viseral organs from its mouth supposedly after being shot (that is quite fasinating and nifty). INCREDIBLE. This title has some fantastic music to go along with it.
