coz in the first game, siegfried is still nightmare. in soul blade, he transformed, if you got the right ending. in this game, they're both the same, except you can choose normal siegfried. or nightmare seperately. but they would have same/similar moves

I love Guard Impacting in this game. It's just so damn satisfying to do it to your opponent over and over again.

soul calibur one and two were incredible. SC3, although retaining the series' charm, is a TERRIBLE joke of a fighting game... competitively, at least. SC4 is the exact opposite of SC3. And that's depressing.

i've got the game for £20 (second hand) and i still prefure SC 2 and 3!

It needed more modes, and the old returning characters don't look like their selves...

Not to mention the loss of charm.

I've owned it for awhile as well, and, it didn't have that old soul calibur feeling put into it.

It was still a good game but... It's not what I call "Soul Calibur".

yeah I knew that, as I stated in my post. But I was just talking about how similiar their inputs and the actual moves were, wondering if they were TOO similiar in the first game.
