3D Ankh

When I was 20 years of age I made the disastrous mistake of joining a pseudo-religious cult where I was hypnotised and brainwashed for the next six and a half years. Their "teaching" was a hodge-podge and grab-bag of ideas taken from Buddism, Judaism, Christianity, Islam, Hiduism, Taoism, Rudolf Steiner, Spiritualism, Gurdjieff and Ouspensky, etc. etc. etc.

Amongst this dragon's booty of stolen gems was the idea that the Egyptian Ankh seen in 2-dimensional hieroglyphs might be a 3-dimensional object composed of 3 circular rings on the 3 axes of geometric space.

During my "brainwashed years" I was encouraged to believe all manner of rubbish and nonsense but this idea of a 3D Ankh has stayed with me as a fascinating mental exercise. Google Sketchup allows me to draw the shape and rotate it around in the time axis, so here it is, with music made in VSThost and Hammerhead.

Wow, glad to have come across this. I had a dream over 10 years ago of a 3D Ankh, Though the circular one at the base was flat not on its side like yours. I even saw the electromagnetic currents flowing through it up and around each of the three connected circles. Seeing this has encouraged me that what I dreamt and thought was actually a real representation, is in fact so. Is there anything else that can be said about the 3D ankh?

Sorry to be so slow in replying. I haven't been online much recently. I don't want to give the name of the cult because it isn't a very well known one and mentioning them here might cause people to check them out and get caught in their web of mind-control. i was only 20 when they got me and it wrecked my life for a long time afterward.

yeah. Ankhs definitely were special. Every photo of an egyptian god shows them with one (almost). Often presented to the nose. Did they have a "smell". Were they a source of free energy broadcast from tets? Our best interpretation means "breath of life"/"eternal life". did they administer Philosopher stone?
