From the 1976 album JAILBREAK. This was the 6th studio album for the Irish hard rock band. The song was written by Phil Lynott and Scott Gorham about Jimi Hendrix. I have to thank Justin for reminding me of this forgotten gem.

I might get some BOOS from you guys and gals....but after playing guitar for 29 years...and being a lIZZY fan for 35 years...i have to say the DEFINITIVE WAH WAH TONE belongs to SCOTT GORHAM on WARRIOR.....just SOULFUL......I mean my top 3 guitarists are PAGE, BLACKMORE and IOMMI...but this solo is just SICKENING!! SCOTT AND BRIAN are the most UNDERRATED GUITARISTS in the hISTORY of guiTAR!

This solo is one of my all time favorites, it doesn't have amazing blazing speed or all that shred stuff, but technical enough in its own right, and so tasteful and flowing with the licks in sync with just the right amount of phaser. Sweet.

You're welcome. This was before Gary Moore. He didn't come in until the "Black Rose" album 2 or 3 years later.
