@chrisjoneschrisjones I can understand how some people might not be able to see Dawn or Jennifer as typical "stand up" comediennes, especially with today's standards of what is considered "funny". However knowing that they performed at The Comic Strip (and then went on to do the shows and so on of course) I know they have it in them to do improv and standup. Also, take Catherine Tate for example. After drama school she did theatre but went on to do stand up and look where she is. Do you also th

@chrisjoneschrisjones hehe! I like this debate :P and unfortunately I have to disagree. Jennifer Saunders wrote Ab Fab, and some of those lines, well they are funny beyond belief. Even if I said them (and believe me I'm rather boring) it would be funny! I'm currently watching their old shows and am howling like a wolf :P I really genuinely enjoy it and think they are irreverently funny. I just don't see how you disagree!! Lol :)

@Donlar89 i disagree,i really liked absouloutely fabulous but it was good because they are quite good actors and social commentators rather than funny funny.i think seeing them do stand up for example would be tedious and not very funny but in something like ab fab or their own sketches they were on average good entertainment-but only vbecause they are mostly good actors rather than comedians! phew!
