Um, "government-financed schools" exist in ALL the other countries of the world that rank higher than ours. Just saying. The failure comes from the QUALITY of our schools. Many, many private schools teach leftist nonsense that would be the envy of liberal public school teachers.

This video is absolutely the truth, its like this if you walk into a barber shop, or beauty salon. Other than newspapers,quarteries, or publications, how many people do you see reading a book? It is even worse in the Afro American society the majority don't read.

In a modern society, all people need to do is consume, purchase, go into stores, put it on credit. You don't need to be a rocket scientist to buy, buy and buy and go into debt.
If something needs to be built, the corporation goes to China to have it built in their low-wage factories. And kids education is no longer priority -- you merely immigrate the talent/skills/scientists you want. You import the talent, rather than home-grow it. This is why the decline is happening.
