is the shifting still the same as the Org.? or is it more towards the style of the V8? I've been in both cars Z28/240sx, shifting seems "weird" on the Z28 for some reason.

I had my headphones full blast cuz I thought it's necessary since I couldn't hear you at first. When that S13 started, I had a mini heart attack lol

this is the best swap for s13 and s14 imo. it makes gobs of low end power all night without the heat soak issues with a turbo setup. it should actually get pretty decent fuel economy on the highway with that super tall 6th gear.
ls1's are a bit pricy though when compared to the sr20 or even rb25 swaps

sounds sick! im still debating on my swap. RB26 or 26, VQ35, LSX, or a hemi! doubtful on the hemi i dont see many of those done

My motor wasn't factory by any means...So price of mine wouldn't count. A regular LS1 and transmission however would run you around 2700-3500 depending where you purchase it from. It isn't hard to install the motor if you do it yourself. But you have to purchase all the items to make it direct drop in, including, wiring, slave cylinder, master cylinder adapter, clutch, flywheel, mounts, radiator, driveshaft, pcm, dakota digital boxes. The cost for drop in components will run around 2500.

Not at all...I drove my SR and it had understeer. The LS didn't at all.
