This was shot at San Francisco's Punch Line as a part of the Alex Bennett radio show, at the time one of the most popular radio shows in the area. The Finders perform the flip side of their regional hit single Calling Dr. Howard. Visit The Finders at squidmusic.com
Alex Bennett's show was on my radio every freaking morning 'til they fucked him over and fired him. I miss his show and no, I'm not buying Sirius. But so many great memories: Joey Ramone just showing up, no sleep, unscheduled a night after an SF show. Guys like Bobcat, Bob Rubin, Slayton, Bubbles just taking over the show and laughing so hard, as was the on-air staff and the "Live Studio Audience." Alex giving air to Gay/Lesbian comedians way before it was cool.
Check his web site.

I never got to hear the Quake, but I remember hearing how cool it was. Live 105 was awesome though.

The Finders had their fingers on the pulse of the Power Pop/Disgusting Presentation niche of the 80's rock scene. It is a loss to us all that we shall never see their likes again. Great band - great stuff.
