Thanks, a lot !

This software is great, but need help in UI. I've been using this on and off for some time, and I STILL have to come here to see how to bloody use this thing. Frustrating. This time, again, I needed to come and see something as silly as how to get the video loaded. BLAH!
How about accepting drag-and-drop into the video area?
(Not a video's poster's problem - thank's for documenting!)

This took me forever to figure out: To make the subtitles appear on the youtube video, you have to click "cc", which is across from (to the right of) the audio and play button at the bottom of the video screen

@Godzilla52 If your avi video file cannot open into subtitle workshop software, then try convert from avi to wmv file. Try video converter software such as any-video-converter---it is free i think!!!

what video format do you use? like MP4, JPEG?? please help!
buonolover2955 1 year ago
@buonolover2955, please use .wmv, .avi video format that accepts this subtitle workshop. If you stuck with .mov, .flv or .mpeg, try video converter software such as any-video-converter---it is free i think!!!

thanks for the vid! it helped me a lot...now how do i change the text format? the text of the subtitle is too big and i want to remove the text highlight and change the color

You welcome! If you speak of subtitle workshop 4 software's enlarged color-highlighted text displaying on your open vid that is your visual text what you see is what you get before save it as ".sub" for youtube video upload. Text in captioning for youtube or other vid sharing is normal white text size not the same as what you see on subtitle workshop4 software. Got it!
