'Watching wide-eyed' does not refer to Jesus. It refers to ourselves, looking at Jesus's sacrifice. 'Undone' also refers to us - that we feel devastated at what Jesus had to go through.

It was a complex feeling here. If I have great suffering, I will close my eyes, but Jesus opened His eyes to receive the great pain at the cross.

The singer will sing the wrong words. The sentence "watching wide-eyed" may discribe His (Jesus) complex feeling during the suffering "at the cross". If it is "at the cost", it is meaningless. It is a good correction, but the singer may have a great pressure singing in a large but traditional church. She sings a lot in various places, however, I wondered she sings wrongly words in various sentences. It is a good song with deep theological ideas and showing deep feeling ...
