Dumbledore Deluminator Custom not noble collection from the Harry Potter series

First seen in the very first part of the Sorcerer's Stone Dumbledore on privet drive clicking his deluminator then in Deathly Hallows part 1 Given to Ron in Dumbledores will.
I tried to recreate the deluminator as best as I could, Im about 80% finished but now wondering if I should paint it.
I made this from a solid piece of aluminum and copper and it took about an hour and a half to get it this far, I shot the video right after working on it to get some input on if I should paint it or not so my hands are dirty I know...
Noble Collection is going to start selling deluminators in August and theres has a green marble type center piece I may do to this one after I hinge it and make the bell cover.
What do you guys/girls think?

Are you sure the real Deluminator has 8 faces? Because I have a blueprint of it from the book of the making of the film and I can see 9 faces. I don't have this book. I just found the blueprints from it on the Internet. That's why I'm making other ones because I can't see what's writing on it like the references sizes and the movements. But, by the way, I think I'll keep it as an octogone; it would be too complecated as a 9 faces.
