Custom SMW Overworld - My Overworld Contest Submission

EDIT: I got 10th in the contest. I probably coulda done a bit better... :/

This will hopefully be turned into a full-out hack someday, and really like how this overworld ended up turning out. I have a few levels done, but they freeze at "Mario Start!" In SNES9x. I have to fix that...
The custom overworld sprites were made by carol.

btw how long did this take to make?

dunno made it awhile ago. Maybe about 10 hrs total over about 2.5 weeks (?), accounting for ripping GFX, palettes, and laying down all the tiles and such.
