China's official Xinhua News Agency says the death toll of a fire that engulfed a high-rise apartment building in China's business center of Shanghai has risen to 42.
@DxMama Any death, regardless of nationality, race, religion, political background, etc. is a tragedy and doesn't deserve to be made light of. Most of the residents of the building were retired teachers, many of whom were among the dead along with a baby who died in its grandmother's arms. Its unfortunate that you lack the humanity to appreciate that they were no more deserving of that death than anyone else.

If that building was fully occupied when the fire started, a lot more than 50 people are going to have died.
