Well, I've bought a new Rhodes Mark and I'm VERY DESAPPOINTED !!!!!! My dream became a Nightmare ! Over n° 51 B note, sound is perfect : i can feel the hammer and notes get "Brillance" exellent metallic sound. But under n° 51 B note, sound is not good AT ALL; exactly like simple synthetiser. VERY DESAPPOINTED! A SHAME !!! " Yours sounds better !

If you want to record the Rhodes without any effect pedals, you can unplug the RCA jack under the lid, (rear left as you are facing the Rhodes), and take a signal off the RCA jack direct without getting any "coloring from the "Bass boost" & "volume" knobs, (which I believe are the same electronics on a Fender P-Bass).

Way cool piano. Classic machine. Timeless instrument.

@HammondB200 They are tonebar clips, they add sustain to the higher notes on the piano.

bad quality, but one can hear the rhodes sounds good and funky, i like it when it sounds more wurlitzer-like more than too soft

Yeahh boy ;D thats awesome

It was done by a good tech, why are you recording it in such a bad way?

You dont want to record it like that. You are masking the tone. Start over!!!

how did you amp it?

I just run it straight into a Peavey KB100 Keyboard amp? When recording- the sound just goes straight into the crappy mic on the video camera- I should look at getting a proper line in to the laptop really!?
