For 5 years I worked on Full time Mountain Rescue durting the 1970s in North Wales. It was one of the best experiences that I have had in my life, pushing my self to the limits, working as a team where you had to rely on each other in life and death situations. It set me on a track in life that makes me live it to the full. Life is an adventure which we only have one chance of. If we have health then we should live it to the full making there most of everything and treat life, that off your own and others with respect and dignity. During this time I also climbed Mt Rania in Washington, thanks to Washington rescue services as well as climbed the French Pyreneess. It was as privileged to work in Mountain Rescue and be at one with the world and the elements. We are in a world now where even taking a walk in the Country can lead to harassment from the powers that be. Its a very sad word. chris Summerfield photo T.V.Media world Wide ccsphoto12@hotmail.com contact website at www.pbase.com/fistralb www.lulu.com/chrissummerfield publishing Calendars and posters etc can be shipped world wide.
