PLOT:
Louis is a sweet, innocent young boy when he arrives at Downton, weeks after the announcement of war. And for a while, all is well in the house. Life carries on as normal, the whispers of the war so distant from them. And soon, sweet little Louis finds himself falling for the snarky, cold, bitter Thomas, seeing something in him that so many others do not. And in turn, Thomas falls for the ever optimistic youth who persists in making himself a part of his life.
And for a while, everything seems to be falling into place.
Until the letter arrives.
Louis is drafted to France to fight a losing battle. The terrors of the trenches take their toll on the boy, and the only solace he can find is in his memories.
Thomas misses Louis more than he'd like to admit, confiding only in his closest ally, Sarah.
And when that second letter arrives, the letter that everyone of them had dreaded...well, who knows what might happen?

Really great video! And I love the plot line, it sounds like something I'd love to read! I'm absolutely in love with Thomas and Downton Abbey and recently watched A Very Long Engagement in my French class, and so thoroughly enjoyed this video! Really awesome song choice as well :D
