When I watched this at states my mouth dropped you guys are crazy awesome...awesome vocals and choreography. I also watched the "Ankeny" show choir do this song and is was "not"! as good as hurricanes...someone said it was but hurricane deffiently did this song better than them! Can't wait to watch you this year at states!

Dude... he was referring to the arrangement of this opener. It is Brandon Dean's arrangement haha. Not that its a bad thing to do it (its a solid arrangement and makes a great opener). Just transcribe both groups' versions and you will realize its the same. Whatev though, both groups rocked with it. I love EEE, Ankeny, and Hurricane (this show was such an improvement for them!)

also, crombie, it's not like its an amazingly original idea to make that opening part acapella. it makes musical sense anyway.

okay, so i just watched both videos, and honestly, they don't look the same at all. and let me ask you something: if someone chooses to do a song another choir did a few years back, how does that automatically mean that they copied them? The dresses are totally different, the arrangement's different, and Peace of Mind is just a good opener. Just because they chose peace of mind as an opener and chose green dresses, that doesn't mean they copied EEE in any way, shape, or form.

The difference is really in the talent.. This version is better =)

I don't even see how you think that's the same as EEE in 2002...
The arrangement, choreography, and costumes are all different. EEE's dresses are short straps around the shoulder and are more green. Red Hot's go around the back and and more of a blue.

I think that hurricane STILL has one of the best sounds in the nation (of show choir world anyway) I love this show,did they beat marysville this year?
