I'm 68 years old and about to be Homeless. What's happening in my life right now, I'm not proud of, but it's the truth. I felt a need to tell people that not only men become homeless. The more I write of this, the more women come forward telling me their stories. What will happen to the older gals like me? Will we be swept under the rug, like so many Alzheimer's victims are?

  • "Is Life One Big Goodbye" One Homeless Woman's Survival Stoy.

My newest book in paper back, on Amazon.

  • After almost a year Homeless, I wrote 'my' story, entitled "Is Life One Big Goodbye: One Homeless Woman's Survival Story.

You can find it today on Amazon.com's Kindle, ebook, etc. Paper back will be out soon. Thank you all for the support you've given me.

  • I hope you get your story out and you can find a solution to your problem. I've heard people at homeless shelters spend a lot of time reading in the library.

  • @bcarlson15210 Me also, a solution. Maybe getting this story out there, will be the solution. Who knows.

  • Wow Rose! What a courageous woman you are in getting the word out about your situation. I am going to post this on my Facebook page. Please continue to let your needs be known.

  • @tweeters54 I don't know about courageous. I just feel others are going through the same thing, and it should be known, not shoved underneath a rug. Thank you for posting it on your Facebook page.

  • File bankruptcy to get the creditors off your back.

  • I am so sorry to hear about your situation. The way the economy and job situation is going in this country, I see many more homeless people in the future. It does not look good.

  • Oh Rose, I am sorry for your situation. Let's thank the U.S. government for what is happening to not only you, but all American's...I am sorry...
