This song actually brings me back to a cold-blooded old time....the school my brother went to when he was 7. They had that giant traffic light. We would go down on west broad street all the time. Yep, things were so much better a decade ago...

He reminds me vocally at least of Leo Kottke, guitarist supremo, who said himself that he had a voice like a duck's fart, and yet it was brilliant.

cold blooded old times ...memories of how your parents messed you up..... theres people been through much more crap than me but just looking back on your parents or guardians kicking off when you were a kid does make me feel bad even now.. but maybe im misreading the lyrics
