Tempest v1 ROM screen collapse

Between player 1 and player 2, the screen collapses. This can be fixed by updating the ROM revision.

Yes, this is playing on a 19'' WG6100 vector monitor. The machine is a Tempest mini that is in my basement.

This is a documented bug, you have version 1 roms. This is corrected later in version 3 of the code. Find someone to burn you third version ROMS for position 2, 3 and 8.  Problem solved. This also will correct the over-draw of the Z amp which needlessly stresses the output transistors.

Does seem to have a nice glow effect going there. Would that happen to be playing off an actual vector monitor?

Now that's a bug, I'd rather call a feature :)

I think it looks quite cool and would leave it at that if it doesn't harm the vector-beam (which it shouldn't I guess)
