From the documentary Top 10 Progressive Rock Bands - it is pretty funny and contains rare footage of the band from the early years towards the beginning (right after the... ahem... codpiece part ;) )

"Ah, Anderson! Come in! Come in! So, you wish to play two flutes at once, dance around on one leg dressed as a tramp, and thereby become one of the world's leading salmon farmers?... Stupid boy! What you need is a codpiece!"

That was from the free gig in Hyde Park from 29th of July 1968. I guess there is a recording of the whole thing in some archives somewhere. If only it could leak or be officially released or something... :(

They're very old bands because Progressive Rock was predominantly a 70's thing. Admittedly there are a few bands around that still carry the banner for prog, but this top 10 was based on length of time these bands have spent in the British album charts. If the UK weren't so fickle when it came to music then maybe It would be a bit more diversified but as Prog was only fashionable in the UK in the 70's, and it's now against the law to be unfashionable in the UK, then that's why they're there.
