How to Fix an Old iPod

this is a 20g iPod photo. this should work on all models before they started calling them "iPod classic"

instructions:
1. turn it on, watch it not work
2. smash it against something, preferably a notebook or some other hard yet soft object
3. repeat if it didn't work. if it doesn't work after about 9 times, there's no hope for your ipod

i need help i pluged my ipod into my xbox elite i aaccidnetly changed something clicked somethig i shouldnt have.idk if it was clear cache or what but i changed something.ive tryed slaming it it doesnt work.i have xp with the old itunes so it wont update i need the itunes.guess i have to go to a friends and use a new computer.if you know how i can fix my old ipod please tell me-

my xbox messed it up i might have cleard cache on my xbox when it was then it fucked it off..

oh well time for windows 7 and new ipod

this is a 50/50 chance.

slamming it can reset the stylus of the HDD thats inside, which can get locked to the head(the middle circle)

at the same time.. it can damage your ipod not only externally with dents.. but can be Internally
