System discussion for the Sega Dreamcast. Released in 1999 for North America, the Dreamcast was Sega's last console. The system was discontinued in 2001 along with Sega's withdraw from the console market due to past failures, competition from the Sony PS2, & the incoming Microsoft Xbox & Nintendo GameCube.

Love the Dreamcast im like 27 Short of having Every US games and have a good amount of imports Its just a great system. I liked this video great job, alot more games made All Stars than you would think. In my opinion the Dreamcast is one the best console ever made and Sega give up too fast.It didn't give enough chance to raise to the competition.The best games where made when the system was discontinued.

I try not to sound too close minded but the Dreamcast is what I believe to be the greatest console ever. It's the weird missing link between the N64 gen and the PS2 gen. It just has a nice little spot in my memory. Also, it does 480p through VGA.

I remember when I had my DC, the first game I bought was Marvel Vs. Capcom 2. I bought Sonic Adventure after that. Unfortunately I was forced to sell it. which sucked because by the time i had to sell it, I had games like Carrier, Power Stone, Jet Grind Radio & Hydro Thunder. The Dreamcast is such an underrated gem, and should not be over looked.
