Celebrating Independence Day at Claudius Crozet Park in western Albemarle County, two former Virginia governors -- George Allen (R) and Tim Kaine (D) -- lead the crowd in singing three patriotic songs: "America ('My Country Tis of Thee')," "America the Beautiful," and "The Star Spangled Banner."

WCHV radio personality Joe Thomas acted as master of ceremonies. Joining in the singing were Albemarle County Supervisor Anne Mallek, state Senator Creigh Deeds, Delegate Steve Landes, state Senate candidate T.J. Aldous, and former University of Virginia executive vice president Leonard Sandridge.

Recorded on Saturday, July 2, 2011.
