  • You are incredibly ignorant. She makes too much money for FOOD STAMPS, meaning she's just barely above abject poverty. Do you think cosmetic surgery would even be on the agenda when you can't afford a place to live?

Furthermore, the poor are more prone to obesity. Many can only afford McDonald's food, and you know perfectly well how healthy that is. It's not like the mom is spending on fine French cuisine, for crying out loud! These people are not to blame for their predicament.

  • Get apartment instead of house. It will cost less.

Learn to study in any conditions, people in 3rd world countries study in much worse conditions and don't complain but learn how to focus their mind. If Michael can not study at motel maybe he should stay in school or library. It should be quiet enough in there. :)

  • Kids are always the innocent victims.

  • "I can't think straight with math, reading... EATING"

  • nice ho tey have a marines recruiting ad for this video kids.

  • This country is in a tailspin! Sad.

  • just watched this again and my heart really goes out that sweetheart breanna.. i really hope that she and everyone else are doing better.

  • @mrman3810 nah sorry typical 12 year old? he's acting way younger than that. i was 12 when my single mother was on welfare and struggling to keep the house. and like i said there could be many worse situations to be in. many kids are. i think he's immature and playing the 'poor me' card. imagine how he's hurting his parents by saying those things on tv.. he must be old enough to know how hard they're working. idk maybe tweenies have changed in the past few years or im just being bitter. lol.

  • @michelleslameaccount i think the problem is the kid is probarly getting picked on in school and he doesnt have normal living where he doesnt have his own room or cant ask his mom for money to buy things. he is too young to be thinking like a 40 year old. his complaints are a typical 12 year old who doesnt understand that it takes time for his parents to get on their feet. i do agree that he is complaining too much but its normal under circumstances because of the harsh reality of his situation

  • i do agree that economy does have effect on the children i think that the children need to understand that its hard on the parents when you lose a job and everything is gone and the worst part is that is hurting their children because they dont have the space or money to get the things you want. i do agree that apartments would be better than getting a house due to the cost of living going up.

  • seriously? a spoiled homeless kid? times were rough when i was twelve and i would NEVER complain around my mother who worked her ass off doing the did she best she could. he could be on the streets instead of that heated motel. and what kind of "normal" kids life does he expect? theres no such thing- we all struggle. i dont have sympathy for this kid.
