Absolution of fucking amazment!! Do you still do this? And what program did you use to create the map?
-
@ShadowApex why would you have to have many different people.... if you really have a passion for it, wouldnt you want to learn it all and continually make it better on every level?
-
@TheEmulatorGuy yeah, yout comment is rubbish.
-
Can you put a link for the download of the program please?

WATS PROGRAM CALLED

Well Xp is cool for the ruby language if u speak i that is. The VX one is the best for me, it´s kind of easier to use and you can gat it in german which is cool cuz XP ist kind of tricky if you set in on german. Well anyhow that´s my opinion on the RPG makers, i stick with VX :D
-
Klee, sorry for giving an answer that late.
The best RMK is the XP, for me. That is my opinion, of course. You have your own, and I can understand why.
And I do nt use pre-mounted engines to do my projects - I just assemble the code directly.
-
I´m not doing this because i cannot understand the maker (im´german, the maker is english) i always put Variables into the scripts when i should be using switches :( anyway, why don´t you try the Maker, you can easily download it from one of the many RPG maker sites, just google it. It´s pretty easy to understand, just creating own Characters is kind of a problem cuz u need to "draw" them and if you can´t draw, you can´t make ur own characters. My tipp try to get RPG maker VX that´s the best one

Then, Klee, show us your assembler knowledge.
We are all waiting for that.
Very good video, did you get an A on your project?

Designing a video game? Yeah, right. Try actually creating an engine with some real coding, not your RPG Maker XP rubbish. I wouldn't be surprised if you didn't know C.

Designing a video game entails much more than just simply coding the engine. It requires a lot of work from many different people.

I really found this inspiring as I'm personally developing an entry-level RPG with my cousins. I also am wondering what engine you used to make that as you seemed to have a very good understanding of it. Also, I favorited this video (first favorite ever actually) due to your awesome sprite skills. Keep up the great work!

For the mapping and events I used RPG Maker XP. The program is pretty flexible so you can implement custom battle systems, menus, etc. if you know a bit of the Ruby programming language.
