  • Think about Pandora's box. If we start cloning entire humans, a whole load of negative consequences will ensue. Are the benefits worth the risks? If we begin to engineer each other to a very high degree, the magic , the mystery of what makes us who and what we are will be diminished. Is it worth it? Utilitarianism will lead you down a path towards tyrany, it is not a way to decide ethical issues. I like your video, have fun with Jacks response.

  • @PETEYPABLO1977 I do not agree..the "mystery" of finding out who you really are will persist no matter how far science advances. And human cloning is just another way of reproducing...hell look at it this way...with cloning we can finally settle the age old debate between nature and nurture, we will actually inch closer to what it means to be an individual. :)

  • You are one of my favorite YouTubers. You're clear, you're methodological with your arguments, you're not argumentative, you lead an open discussion, and best of all, you have a strong tendency to know at least the basics of what you're talking about. That's a lot more than I can say for most.

  • @MagicActor1987 thank you! I'm glad that you enjoy them.

  • It is hard to argue via text, I need a webcam... think through this farther. Now we can isolate maybe agene for strength, music, math, sex drive. Being will be reduced to choosing. Want white kids even though you are black? bam. dont want your kids to be small people, bam. Want black kids even though you are white, bam. It is the classic Apollo vs Dyonisus argument. Why does the Nature vs Nurture argument need settling? Do you propose that it is one and not the other?

  • Now if Togetherforpeace really gets into an open conversation with you I think it's gonna be very fruitful. I hope his viewers get to hear your points.
