Compressing a video into H.264 format using x264vfw codec (link: http://sourceforge.net/projects/x264vfw/files ) and compressing the audio into 128kbps mp3 format using LAME MP3 ACM codec (link: http://rarewares.org/mp3-lame-dshow-acm.php ). Also used VirtualDub filters to increase brightness/contrast. PS: This tutorial was made on 1920x1200, then encoded using the above settings. Recommended to watch in Full Screen to notice all the selected options.

  • Umm how did youget vlan's x264 installed on 64 bit windows os? kinda nooby question but idk

  • @nskpsycho They're available to download in the first link of video's description.

  • @JimmyTheJelly yeah i found those and installed them but they only show up on 32 bit version of vdub and not on 64 bit guess the codec isnt designed for 64 bit vdub or im doing something wrong

  • @nskpsycho Right, I don't think they work on the 64 bit version.

  • Hi there =) I have a newb question... At "Audio Compression" i dont have "Lame mp3" as an option. And i tried searching the net why. But i couldn't find any answers. Do you have any idea? Thanks =)

  • @TheZeldak Hey! Yeah you need to install it first, use the second link I provided in description.

  • i saw a torrent that has 40 minutes HD gossip girl avi episodes copressed from 350mb to 140mb i wanna know how, i wanna upload my LP's that way

  • @Dialga003 and that means its better :D

  • Audio compressor doesn't work for me, it screws up my audio completely.

  • Well, that's simple.

  • @diego000vieira ignore - my source video was bugged

  • for some reason on my windows 7 x64 is enconding half of the video.

  • @IanSuffix I see. I'd still recommend Fraps for recording, it beats anything else :)

  • @AlinMCs Hohoho, perhaps you need to take a closer look at the file menu in VirtualDub. Since posting this comment, I've actually been able to use Xvid to get a good processing speed and reasonable file size.

  • @IanSuffix Hey. VirtualDub cannot record. You can use a program like Fraps for that as I'm quite sure it was used to record that Oblivion clip.
