Nice! I enjoyed the juxtaposition of the ape wielding his murderous new weapon and Jack tumbling down the stairs of the Overlook, having been clobbered by Wendy. This piece gives an glimpse of how consistent yet complex Kubrick's mature films ("2001" and later) are in theme and visual expression. Don't know where "Nutcracker" comes in, though!
