Guys, day one the canary does not need to be fed. The day it hatches it can fend for itself tho it has its beak open and looks hungry. Day two however, look out for whether mom os feeding him or not. Mom should be sitting on the baby even after it hatches. If mom does not feed him, then u need to feed him every two to three hrs yourself. You can go to any petshop and ask for Kaytee Exact Handfeeding Baby Bird formula. Tell the person you have a canary. It should say so on thr front too. Feed it

if i took him from his mother will she bee sad?? cause i have three canaries 2 males and a female! i am putting the female with one of the males and she will soon lay eggs!! so will she be sad if i took one of her children and tamed it?
