IPCC assertions about the unprecedented nature of the past century's warming, or the widespread beliefs that we are experiencing an increase in extreme weather, accelerated sea level rise and unusual warming in polar regions are also shown in the video to be wholly without merit.

The idea for the videos was initiated by the Friends of Science Society, a registered not-for-profit group of geologists, environmental scientists and concerned citizens, in an effort to make the science of climate change available and understandable to the general public.

"Carbon dioxide is a staff of life, plain and simple. It makes up less than 4% of greenhouse gases and it is not a toxic."

The Global Warming issue has made Al Gore a very rich man. That fact, in itself, is not a problem for me. The problem I have is; Gore does not live the example of what he says are important to avoid distruction, therefore; he must not believe what he preaches. Typical Politician!

Your statement has some merit but it's not entirely accurate. These scientists are merely pointing out there are significant uncertainties in the models. I firmly think that CO2 will lead to eventual warming. However, the models and scenarios in no shape or form can predict if we are there yet. The certainties can be found with Sulfates (natural coolants), Oceanic effects, albedo variation (strongly connected to water vapor which would likely increase with CO2) and negative feedback loops.

what these scientists unwittingly reveal is this:Sure 97% of CO2 is natural but that is cancelled out by its intake into plants,trees etc. as part of the carbon cycle.But by adding that small 3% it still has a significant effect along with deforestation.The same goes for water vapour.All the gases are in balance but if if you start messing with the atmosphere then you fuck things up

To answer your question; Yes! He should live what he preaches. I'm not suggesting he live to the extremes you suggest. At the very minimum, he should reduce his personal energy consumption below that of the average citizen. The fact is, he doesn't have to. He knows people want to believe and they will follow like sheep anyway. Oh, did you read; his already exorbitant energy consumption grew another 10% last year?

I presume that most of us dont "live the example" YET! Does it mean that he "Al Gore" must use lanterns in his house, and walk to his destinations, because he has educated the world about global warming. Is this what it comes to?
