What troubles you, who are a Shia Islamist, is that the US stands between Islamists and rule. Or at least before Obama the US did that. But the president, being painfully naive, thinks he can finesse the Egyptian Brotherhood and make of them somewhat allies. And so he helped get them into power in Egypt.
