@MattyVfromCT yeah, I'm not going to complain. I was expecting 2-2 at best, so 3-1 is a nice surprise.

@drpapi4ladiez there were some guys on twitter and bleacherreportDOTcom talking trash... which of course will not cease now that they won, but they act like it was a 51-0 win.
Don't get me wrong, there are plenty of decent Baltimore fans. I am actually friends with a couple. I just like antagonizing the homers.

@highlyevolved420 lmao... I shouldn't even respond to you, but it's too fun. What, pray tell, does that have to do with knowing anything about football?
Joe Flacco looked like trash all day until that final drive. The Ravens couldn't punch it in on 4th and goal with time winding down. The Steelers anemic offense screwed them by giving the ball back to Baltimore.
And since you like whining about officiating, look at the first completion of the game winning drive... Oher isholding Harrison

Nice prediction dum dum, shows what you know about football.
and when Ben's back Ed's back and he will pick 6 him all day

@TheDarkestEdge Troy has pick 6'ed Flacco more recently than Reed has pick 6'ed Ben... Off the top of my head, I can't remember a time that Reed has taken a Ben pick to the house.
Besides, his was mostly in response to all the Ravens fans that were talking about a Ravens blowout... 3 points, what a blowout....

@keith410 admittedly, he played better than I expected. however, if you think he played well, you didn't see the game. the Ravens couldn't convert on a 4th and goal with just over two minutes left and only one timeout. The combination of bad penalties and poor offensive play allowed the Ravens to get the ball back with only 40 yards between them and the end zone with about 1:00 or so left to play.
the real difference in the game was the Ravens ran 65 offensive plays to the Steelers 50.

@keith410 stats can be deceiving. just as Flacco's stat line looks better than his actual play on the field, the time of possession does not reflect the advantage the Ravens had on offense.
I have no problem with Charlie Batch, but he is a back-up for a reason. You would have to think that under most circumstances, Ben Roethlisberger is going to make an impact that will equate to greater than 3 points. For one, the Ravens would probably not have run 65 plays.

@keith410 there has to be a reason that espn still has the Steeles at #1 in the power rankings... probably mostly do to an unimpressive win by Baltmore coupled with the return of Roethlisberger.
I'm a little worried about Ben not playing to potential due to the 4 week absence from practice. However, he has the bye week to prepare and a tune-up game against the Browns.
Bottom line Steelers>Ravens
