Cruisin' Car Extravaganza Summer of Fun

"The Cruisin' Car Extravaganza" was held at Arvada Estates in Arvada, Colorado on August 15, 2009. The event was part of Holiday Retirement's "Summer of Fun" promotion. The event showcased over 55 cars. The Management Team; Michael & Diana Hurwitz and Jim & Bev Colman welcomed the crowds to the day long event. Also on hand to take care of the residents and attendees were Amy Rubin, Ben Langton, Kellie Huston and the Staff of Arvada Estates.
Executive Chef Justin Picot created a Hot Dog Picnic for residents and attendees. There were door prizes and a 50/50 raffle that raised money for Arvada Estates' Back to School event to buy school supplies for less fortunate students.
There were also trophies for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners in two categories: General Publicvoting and Car owner voting. Arvada Estates very own Jim Colman won 1st for his 1960 T-Bird. Master of Ceremonies, Si Gliner announced the winners of the event.
