Curt and Bruce Shakuhachi and Koto Duo: "Icarus" "After the Rain"

Long-time Japan-based musicians Curt Patterson and Bruce Huebner formed this duo in 2005 to perform original music for shakuhachi and koto. Here that perform on their fall tour in Fukuoka for a small audience. The cut includes their arrangement of Ralph Towner's "Icarus" and John Coltrane's "After the Rain" from their new album "Tracings" along with song introductions and greetings in Japanese.
