  • The real deal!

  • RIP Amy. Lady Day is amazing, and I'm looking forward to the release of your cover with Tony Bennett. Tough to top her version, but I'm sure you and Tony can do it.

  • thanks so much...what a wonder! ...can't wait to meet her in heaven... :)

  • Like so many great black artists was also destroyed it by the racism of white Americans

  • @pinklilteapot cant believe I came here to just... enjoy, and you said it all -- 1 week ago. She is definitely not forgotten

  • @MotherfuckingDan hell yes!!!!! a nice long joint all to yourself, no one else! no sharing. just solitude, alone-time, and a nice blunt listening to deep music..

  • @pinklilteapot Drugs and music alllways go together well :)

  • She was always wary of men after many (she chose the wrong ones sadly) two timed her leaving her emotionally and in some cases financally broken. She always stood up for herself - there was an occasion in a bar where a man insulted her or something like that and she literally koncked his lights out.

  • en este tema quedaria bien el saxo enamorado de fausto papetti

  • You and I, Can't be together, Can't pass on by, But love passions, That we stir. It's not the passion, We'd prefer. We sigh, We cry, We fly at night, And drink to bitterness, With our chosen brew, and think, 'Bout getting used to, Our time apart, And reascend, And start to mend, Our broken hearts.
  • Great Billie & also wonderful accompaniment especially by Ben & Sweets

  • @pinklilteapot Listen to "Most things haven't worked out" by Junior Kimbrough. It is my go-to song for nights just like you described... absolutely incredible!
