The majority of foundation repair work is done on the perimeter of a home. Occasionally, however, interior piers are necessary.

The video below is of a post-tension concrete slab being constructed. The waffle shape is due to the trenches dug throughout which will form the interior grade beams once the concrete has been poured. These grade beams are very important when it comes to interior pier installation. The location of interior piers will be based on the location of these interior beams. If small or insufficient beams are located limited leveling will be possible. This is something that can't be determined until installation.

  • i thought poly paper was to keep the dry dirt from pulling the moisture out and setting up to quick and also the amount of moisture under the slab when poured will always remain at that moisture % as long as the slab is there
