This is a tarp I made with a 5 dollar sewing machine. It's water proof and stop's the sprinkler water. With different trekking poles this tarp could be set up really high for more head room.
My henry shires contrail doesen't offer too much headroom either, in fact I have to crawl in feet first to get any headroom. The price we pay for going lite.
I think it is a great way to experiment with types of shelter. Also remember headroom really isn't important. The use of the poles is using what you have on hand.
Why cut down two trees when you have two poles?

lifter patches in the middle of the big panels pulled out would increase interior space a lot!!
