What an absolutely fantastic story, thank-you for sharing it, it made my day! Raccoons are so charming, slightly mischievous, but playful and very smart. I see them all around Vancouver, other than toppling the odd garbage can they don't bother people, rather they provide joy for people to watch them in their comical antics such as play fighting and meandering around all of Vancouver's parks. My father guided me to always be kind to people and animals it starts with self-respect.

Props to you for feeding the raccoons. They can be really nice when they get used to humans.....especially if they are getting fed.

Man, I left some catfood out for this stray mother cat who had kittens on my back porch. Motherfuckin' raccoon steals it two days later when it thinks I'm asleep.

@mikelinbasher This crazy Raccoon come up about a year ago and I noticed it sneaking up and getting the catfood so over time it has become kinda tame and now you can feed it out dog treats by hand and it will come up to me and tap me on the leg to let me know she is hungry. She now has 3 babys and she brings them up on the porch to beg for treats also.
