The Old Kingdom - Hunter soloing Elder Nadox

This was actually the last boss I defeated in Old Kingdom. At first I didn't think it would be possible for me to survive, but I came up with a few tricks that got the job done.

First, always be standing on your own explosive trap. Tank pet's have the nice Thunderstomp, but you have to be able to shoot the boss. Taking time to kill the little spiders is time you might miss a heal or what not.

Second, know the guardian spawn %'s. They are at 75%, 50% and 25%. Before each spawn, make sure your pet is healed, Shell Shield is ready, and you have bandaged as much as you can between mini spiders. It's okay to not attack for a little bit. Be prepared.

Lastly, misdirect the Guardians onto your pet and start blasting as fast as you can. Use Shell shield on your pet while tanking both mobs, and your dps cooldowns to burn down the Guardians.

I will admit, the 140 damage absorption from the Essence of Gossamer helped, but I'm sure it would have been possible without, just maybe I would have had to use a health pot and bandaged one more time.

The addon for all my buffs and dots and such is called Kharthus's Hunter Timers. The one I used for mend pet in the middle there is called needtoknow.
