This was her first show as a 3-year-old. Jewell is a 4-year-old bay mare by Pets Ready Chex (an NCHA money earner and site of several NRHA money earners) and Moon Bar Quixote (Cee Bar Quixote). She won the Clayton Woosley Futurity, limited non-pro with a score that could have won all division. However, since it was her first show, I didn't enter up. She place 2 and 3 at the Jackson, Ohio Futurity and 15th at the Congress futurity (rider error).
She is in the Kentucky breeders incentive fund, so she will earn money for each point that she earns. Last year the dollar amount per point was about $180. The last AQHA show she easily won the open and earned 6 points.
She's good tempered and willing to learn. She circles and stops really nice, and her turn around is about average but improving.
