The GTO's - Missing Out On The Fun

The flipside of this 45 made it onto the great Cameo Parkway 4 cd box set issued by Abkco Music, Inc., but this side should've been right alongside it! Abkco really dropped the ball by not including this killer on that set! I hope they'll decide to put it out at some point because it's too good of a record to be wasting away in a tape vault! I hope you dig it 1/10 as much as i do because it is one of my all time favorite tunes! I'm also glad I finally own the actual 45 as it's nearly impossible to find these days. The copyright on this sound recording is owned by Abkco Music, Inc...please support them and their releases of Cameo Parkway material so that we may see more of it come out on cd. got this in the seventies for the flip side - girl from new york city (nothin like the ad libs Boy from new york city) when it was played as northern soul. but this side has a nice wee melody that i could see going down well in it's day

Abkco is now releasing original albums on CD and no more compilations (except for Christmas) CDs. Yes, we fans want another 4 CD set that has some rare or 'B' side songs. It is a costly measure for Abkco, but they'll make money as they did on the first set.
